Five years ago, when I had just started tattooing, I appeared for the first time in an online article of the Lëtzebuerger Journal. I was still at the very beginning, full of dreams, doubts, excitement – and absolutely no idea where this path would take me. Today… I opened the Luxemburger Wort and saw a double-page feature about my work, my studio, my art. Print and online. My own space, my own vision, my own little world that I get to bring to life every single day. My heart is full of gratitude. Today I want to share something truly close to my heart. This beautiful woman once poured boiling water over her stomach and legs many years ago — the scars from that, along with a cesarean scar, stayed with her for decades. She’s now over 60, and until recently, she had never worn shorts or a bikini in her entire life. We’ve been working together to transform those scars into art — and now, for the first time, she told me she finally feels confident enough to wear shorts again. 🖤 We’re almost at the end of this journey — just a few details left to complete — but seeing her smile and hearing that she feels free again means everything to me.
